MAEM Sp. z o.o. is implementing a project called "Expansion of the Research and Development Department to Conduct Research on Advanced Manufacturing Processes for Marine Machinery Parts Operating under Extreme Conditions", co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund under Priority Axis 1, Theme 1.2: Research and Innovation at Enterprises; Sub-theme 1.2.2 Research and Development Infrastructure at Enterprises, of the Regional Operational Programme for the Małopolska Region 2014-2020.

The main objective of the project is to expand MAEM’s Research and Development Department in order to carry out research projects on incremental forming processes, the final benefit of which will be knowledge on how to manufacture the series of rotating sheet metal parts, thin-walled sheet metal parts of the bowl-disc and gravity-disc types, reducing the number of operations or eliminating bonding and welding processes.

As a result, the company will gain research and technological capacity as well as staff potential to carry out research on manufacturing and testing. The research and development  will lead to new products and processes, supported by dedicated quality control techniques and the original testing methodology of complete sets. The project will significantly enhance a competitive advantage of the company on the market.

MAEM sp. z o.o. is implementing a project called "Exporting to the Greek, Italian and Maltese markets by MAEM sp. z o.o.", co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund under Priority Axis 3, Theme 3.3: Internationalisation of the Małopolska Region Economy; Sub-theme 3.3.2 International Activity of Małopolska’s SMEs, of the Regional Operational Programme for the Małopolska Region 2014-2020.

The project objective is to support the company’s expansion into the Greek, Italian and Maltese markets by pursuing an international business strategy that includes analysis of MAEM’s area of interest, identification of target markets, analysis of company competitive advantage and  recommended means of export strategy realisation. The envisaged activities make up a comprehensive, coherent and long-term strategy which will most likely lead to winning customers ready to buy MAEM’s products in new foreign markets.

Specific objectives and expected results of the project:

  • To sell a range of products extended to include new ones on the Greek and Italian markets and to start selling products on the Maltese market.
  • To make a profit on entering the target markets.
  • To establish new business relationships and a long-term cooperation.

MAEM sp. z o.o. is implementing a project called "Entering a New Foreign Market by MAEM sp. z o.o Via Exporting", co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund under Priority Axis 3, Theme 3.3: Internationalisation of the Małopolska Region Economy; Sub-theme 3.3.2 International Activity of Małopolska’s SMEs, of the Regional Operational Programme for the Małopolska Region 2014-2020.

The project objective is to support the company’s expansion into a new foreign market, based on the document International Business Activity Strategy developed by a specialist consulting firm. While implementing the project, the company plans to obtain certificates required to operate on the selected market, to make necessary preparations for the participation in international trade fairs and to attend such events, as well as to seek and select business partners. The actions described in the Strategy make up a long-term, coherent and comprehensive strategy, which will most likely lead to winning a new foreign market and new clients ready to buy MAEM’s products.

Specific objectives and expected results of the project:

  • To expand into a new foreign market as a result of the project implementation.
  • To sell MAEM’s products on a new market.
  • To implement the Quality Management System compliant with the requirements of two ISO standards as a result of the project implementation.
  • To make a profit on entering a new foreign market.
  • To establish new business relationships.
